If you’re running high-speed PET blowing, you already know the biggest headache: the heating phase. It’s the real bottleneck. When your preforms don’t heat evenly from the outside in, you end up with wonky wall thickness and bottles that just… fail. It’s frustrating. That’s exactly why we built our replacement lamps. We wanted to fix that penetration problem once and for all. The secret is in the heat density. We didn’t just make a “bright” bulb. We tweaked the spectral output, balancing wattage and voltage to push out more short-wave infrared. Why? Because short-wave radiation doesn’t just bake the surface; it actually sinks deep into the plastic. Plus, we built these to handle the high-voltage spikes of a HyPET oven, so you aren’t constantly replacing filaments that burnt out during a rapid cycle. Then there’s the glass. Cheap tubes cloud up and die under thermal stress. We use high-purity quartz to stop that from happening. We also added a specialized coating that bounces the heat back toward the preform. It’s a win-win: you waste less energy and your oven chassis doesn’t get scorching hot. Installing them is easy. They’re drop-in replacements. We used standard connectors, so you can just wire them up and get back to work without messing around with your lamp holders. One quick heads-up, though. This kind of power puts a bit more stress on your system. Since these lamps push more energy into the preform, your cooling fans need to be in top shape. If your airflow is clogged with dust, the ends of the lamps can overheat, which kills the quartz seal. Keep your vents clear. Do that, and you’ll easily get 5,000+ hours out of every tube.
