The Power, Voltage, and Size—Plain and Simple
At the heart of this lamp is a high-density heating profile. It runs on 400V, typically delivering around 2500W, all packed into a 300mm tube. That combo gives you the heat flux you need to get PET preforms up to temperature fast. And the size? It’s tight. Designed to fit the cramped heating zones of most blowers without forcing you to rework the machine. One thing to keep in mind: a 400V 2500W tube throws off serious heat density. Make sure your machine’s cooling can keep up with the extra ambient temperature.
What It’s Made Of—And Why It Lasts
The heating element is a shortwave infrared halogen lamp, sealed inside a tough quartz tube. Quartz handles the shock of rapid on/off cycling without cracking—a weak spot you see with standard glass. The halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, so output stays consistent over the life of the lamp. Then there’s the connector: a standard R7s bi-pin. It’s the industry norm for linear infrared heaters, so you get a secure, direct fit into the existing socket. Installation is straightforward—just wire it up. No need to tweak the machine’s interface.
What This Means on the Floor
In practice, you get quicker heat-up and steady temperature control. That’s the difference between consistent bottle quality and a headache. And because it’s universal, you can simplify your spares.
