Here is the problem with swapping out OEM lamps in a Sidel Matrix blower: if the temperature ramp-up is even slightly off, you’re in trouble. A tiny slip in wattage or spectral output and suddenly your PET preforms aren’t heating evenly. That’s how you end up with pearlescence or those annoying thin walls that ruin a batch.
