We did things differently with our infrared replacement elements. Instead of just warming up the air, these lamps target the surfaces. Dealing with Mold (The Easy Way)
Here is the thing about mold: it loves cold, damp tiles and stagnant air. It’s a nightmare to scrub. Our short-wave infrared tech actually penetrates the surface of your grout and tiles. It bumps the temperature up just enough to keep things above the dew point. Basically, if the surface stays dry, the mold can’t move in. It’s a simple, physical fix for a gross biological problem.
Built for the Steam
Let’s be honest—bathrooms are brutal on electronics. Between the steam and the occasional splash, most heating elements just give up. That’s why we used IP65-rated housings. It’s a fancy way of saying we sealed the electrical connections tight so water can’t get in. We also used a specific kind of quartz glass that doesn’t crack when it goes from ice-cold to scorching hot in seconds. You get a ton of heat in a tiny package. Just a heads-up: because these pack such a punch, your bathroom can heat up fast. Make sure your vents are working well so the fixture doesn’t get too hot.
Swapping Them Out
These are designed as drop-in replacements. No weird custom adapters or headaches—just standard connectors and you’re good to go. We also treated the quartz tubes to stop mineral buildup. If you have hard water, you know how those white crusty spots form on cheap lamps, creating “hot spots” that burn the element out. Ours resist that. One quick tip: if you notice the glass frosting over, your gasket probably isn’t sealed right. Give it a check. Keeping that IP65 seal tight keeps the moisture away from the filament, which means your heater lasts a lot longer.
