Carbon Crystal Infrared Heaters: Built for the Shop Floor
We built these carbon crystal heaters for the place where downtime isn’t an option: your shop floor. You need heat, and you need it now—no waiting, no fuss. These aren’t just bulbs. They’re serious thermal tools, engineered for the heavy lifting of industrial work.
Power, Voltage, and Size—Straight to the Point
Here’s the setup we lean on: 400V driving 2500W of power, packed into a compact 300mm tube. That gives you high-density output and a fast heat-up. When your process needs a quick response, this delivers. The 300mm length isn’t random. It’s long enough to spread heat evenly, but not so long that it hogs space on your machine.
The Inside Story: Halogen, Quartz, and a Solid Connection
Inside, the carbon crystal filament lives in a quartz tube filled with halogen gas. That halogen chemistry keeps the element clean, so the output stays steady over the life of the lamp—no blackening, no surprises. The quartz tube handles the heat and thermal shock with ease, so the infrared energy stays consistent. And we finish it off with an R7s connector. It’s secure, low-resistance, and a straight drop-in fit for existing fixtures. Wire it up, and you’re running.
Why It Works: Heat Where You Need It
These heaters shine on demanding jobs like PET blowing, where you need heat focused on the preform—not the whole machine. That high heat density cuts cycle time. Just keep one thing in mind: your cooling system needs to be properly matched. Manage the ambient, and this heater settles into a steady groove, shift after shift.
